So, after 5 years and much heartache, on 27 November I finally defended my thesis at TU Delft. The day went very well indeed and I actually had a very good time (OK, so Dutch defences are not life and death like an English viva!) Many thanks to everyone who turned up to make it such a fun day - especially my parents who came back from the colonies for the event. The official photos of the event are now here. |

So, after just a year in Chiswick, I'm off moving again. This time I'm moving just a few kilometres North-East to Ealing to become assistant warden of Clayponds Village - home to 300 or so postgraduate students of Imperial College. The Clayponds website is up and running and there are some pictures of me among those in the Clayponds photo gallery. |
